New development agenda. New rules of the game.
Over the past 20 years, development cooperation has evolved rapidly. Now, new and emerging donors in the developing world, international financial institutions (IFIs), foundations and private companies all have an important role to play to advance the 17, internationally-agreed Global Goals, which aim to end poverty and protect the planet while leaving no one behind by 2030. Bringing these actors together while making the most of their strengths is key for advancing the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
The new actors that come to the development table have important experiences, networks and results to share. UNDP has global knowledge and expertise gained over 50 years in all development settings. Together we can address the most pressing national development challenges in the region and end poverty everywhere. Forever.
